Kaylee Time: Trying to Escape

We have a gate on her door so that she can't get out of her room and go to the kitchen or living room without me waking up in the mornings since she sleeps with her crib as the toddler bed. She doesn't like when she gets put into her room when she's not ready to sleep or need her to stay in one spot so we can do something.
The time of the picture was when i was trying to get her to sleep. She wanted out so she dragged her play kitchen over to the gate so that she could climb up it and try and get over it. she got too scared and ended up calling out for me. One foot over the gate while the other was still on the kitchen so that she wouldn't fall. She's tried to do this a few other times, but i've gotten a bit better at hearing her dragging the kitchen over that i can catch her before she starts. or i leave the kitchen knocked over since she can't lift it.

Wouldn't have this problem if she wasn't so big for her age lol. she climbs over everything. can't keep her in the living room very well since she climbs over the couch to get over the banister to get out of the living room.

Look What I Found: Wonka Vending Machine

I didn't get anything out of it because of time and cost, but i thought this was amazing. It was touch screen, lots of different candies. it was pretty much a way to buy some of it in bulk. Not sure if it's even still there since i don't go to the mall that often, and when i do not this mall that much. But if i run into one of these again, i so want to buy something just to say i've used it lol

Food Chat: Papa Murphy's Pumpkin Pizza

I'm still a little kid at heart when it comes to things like this. I know it's just a pizza that is shaped differently, but just to have something special on a holiday is great. It's like how i love october and november because of all the pumpkin things. And i like halloween stuff. I just can't wait for when Kaylee can get excited over things like this with me.

Oh The People I See: What sign?

On the way to the mall to take Kaylee trick or treated, we were going to have to drive by this guy. I first noticed him and being like "oh another sign guy", we have a lot of them in Portland. Then i looked at him more and realized he had no sign....yet he stood there as if he had a sign. He stood like how this picture is as we drove by him, and he even gave us a look as if we were the crazy ones. My mom and I just busted out laughing once we drove by him. He also had a dog with him.
Not sure what he was thinking. Whether it was doing it to see what happened and knew he had no sign, or he thought he had a sign but never really did....kinda like the king and the invisible robes.

Kaylee Time: Halloween

So little late on this post, i'm just really backed up on the pictures i want to get posted.

Anyways, my daughter, Kaylee, wanted to be a pirate for halloween, so this was her outfit, minus the spoon. She likes to play with spoons. Hard to see in the first picture, but she's also holding a little sword.

The outfit came with a little hat for her to wear, but her hair is too fluffy for it to stay on, though she also doesn't like wearing hats too much. For the sword, we couldn't find anything small enough for her until we went to spirit. We found the sword...Only thing was that it came with a garter and was $10. I still have the garter somewhere, room is a mess and i lose a lot of things, and $10 was over half what we paid for the actual outfit. I almost went with a little panda outfit, to stick with an animal theme i had going from the first two halloweens, but my mom didn't want to spend the money on it. I couldn't go too fancy on the costume, like a princess, because she just would of tore it up. It was hard finding something really good anyways because of cost and her size. She's only 2.5ish in the picture and we had to look for size 4 costumes/clothes for her.

Anyways, here's a few other pictures from her trick or treating.
 Better picture of the sword
Took her trick or treating at the mall. had her wear her backpack leash so that she wouldn't run off....which she tried multiple times.
Interesting pumpkin that was at the mall
her loot. didn't get too much since we only went to the mall and it was PACKED.

Food Chat: Hershey's Kisses Pumpkin Spice

I'm already a lover of pumpkin things, so finding this was a must to try. I still have some to eat, i haven't been sweet snacking like i use to. I was almost scared to try these, not sure why probably just because it was new. Once i finally tried one, it was like eating a little really sweet pumpkin pie.
I like the way the foil looks on it, just my mom ended up giving me one of her caramel ones that had the same wrapper just different paper tag thing. So i almost couldn't find the caramel one among these ones.

Food Chat: Pearl organic soymilk coffee flavored

I had this at one point because i wanted to try it because of it being coffee flavored and i kinda like soymilk. I found this to be AMAZING! Only thing i was disappointed in it was that i had a hard time finding it again after trying it.....well also that there isn't nearly enough in one box that i want lol. As much as i could remember to look for this each time i went by the soymilk section, i just could never find it, not even at the same place i first bought it. But then magically one day, i found it! and they still have it since the last time i looked. I don't think this would be good to put into coffee, i think i tried and didn't like it, but it's great just drinking it on it's own.

For some reason i thought it was funny when i realized this is by the same makers that make soy sauce. No idea why it was funny since both products are soy....maybe just because one is a drink and the other isn't.
